The Wild Texan - Tex-Mex Burgers

    1 lb 85% lean minced beef
    3/4 cup cooked wild rice
    1/4 cup thick chunk salsa
    1 tsp chili powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 cup shredded hot pepper cheese
    4 Kaiser rolls, chopped tomato and onion; additional salsa if desired

In medium bowl, combine beef, wild rice, salsa, chili powder and salt; mix well. Form into 4 half-inch patties. To pan broil, place in heated skillet. Cook over medium to medium-high heat 5-6 minutes per side, turning once. Top with cheese. Serve on Kaiser rolls with lettuce, tomato, onion and salsa.
