Italian Basil Wild Rice Soup

    1 large onion, chopped
    1 tbsp minced garlic
    2 tsp canola oil
    2 links mild italian pork sausage, casing removed
    1/2 lb ground beef
    1 cup tomato sauce
    1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
    2 tsp dried basil
    1 tsp dried oregano
    1 pkg (12 oz) frozen Green Giant® Steamers Basil Vegetable Medley, prepared as directed on pkg
    4 cups chicken broth
    2 cups cooked wild rice
    1 cup Sargento® Chef Blends™ Shredded 6 Cheese Italian

In large saucepan, saute onion and garlic in oil. Add pork and beef; brown. Stir in remaining ingredients except cheese. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover; simmer 15 minutes. Spoon into bowls; top with cheese.
